How to make a claim with The Insurance Emporium
Submit your claim online (recommended)
Where available, you can submit your claim quickly and easily through our digital claims journey in the MyEmporium portal.
Using the digital journey means:
- Your claim is received instantly
- Less risk of delays due to missing information
- We can start assessing your claim sooner
To get started, simply log in or register for MyEmporium and select the relevant digital journey.
Submitting a claim by form
If a digital journey isn’t available for your policy, or you prefer, you can still submit a claim using a paper form. Please ensure the form is completed fully and accurately, and returned with all supporting documentation.

What happens next?
Once we receive your claim, we aim to acknowledge receipt within 2 working days (excluding weekends).
After we’ve received all required information and supporting documents, we’ll assess your claim as promptly as possible. Please note that missing documentation will delay assessment.
If your claim is successful
- We will aim to issue a BACS transfer.
- The policy excess and items that are not covered by the policy will be deducted from the settlement.
- If we do not hold BACS details settlement will be issued by cheque. Please be advised that if a payment is issued by cheque this will take longer.
